In 1995 Bill made a visit to a door shop to purchase some lumber. When he saw the beautiful doors being built there, he was inspired. After learning the door shop needed help, he jumped at the chance to learn the trade. In 1997 Bill was able to buy the business from the then retiring owner and build his first of many doors under our brand. He never looked back.
We are always looking for the best, state of the art door options for sliding, pocketing, and folding door systems. To do this, we work with vendors who stay ahead and the curve such as Centor, Western and Sky Frame. #customdoors
Jenny Gillespie is our Showroom Manager and has been with us since the Showroom opened in 2018. Conchetta Asbury is our Showroom Assistant and joined the team this year. Either one is happy to help with any of your decorative hardware needs! We are always updating and adding new pieces to our displays. Come see us!
Our team of craftsmen take pride in what they do and it shows in the details of our doors. As a low tech operation, we rely on old school methods which have always proven to be the best.
We're a custom shop. The design of customer projects comes from a collaboration between them and our Designer, Bill Barrett. Aside from creating a design to reflect our customer's personal style, we do other things to make the door experience a personal one. We work with our customers on selecting their finish color and then hand apply the stain to achieve a perfect finish. During installation, we put a penny in each door. The penny in the door is to remind our customers of the year their beautiful entry was created. Our installers take tremendous care to make sure the installation is smooth and professional.
Nope, these guys don't do any real work except for entertaining our customers over the years. Buddy is our current Mascot. He is a rescued Chocolate Standard Poodle with a wild Mohawk. He loves adults and especially children but for those who prefer not to be around dogs, we put him safely away.

We are a full service company. We move from design, to build and, finally, install. Even after installation, we're here for our customers when they need us for things like maintenance on their finish, a repair after damage to a door or hardware or for new projects.
With over 25 years of design experience in creating custom doors, Bill still loves each project he works on for our customers. You'll notice we don't number our doors. Our customers work with our design team to create an entry for their unique style. Our collaboration with our customers is very personal and we prefer to name their design after them.
